REMODELING INDUSTRY RECOGNIZES, BURCH BUILDERS GROUP
Capital COTY Awards Represent Best of the Best in Remodeling & Design-Build
Washington, DC –During a formal evening at the Bethesda North Marriott, 141 projects by 40 of the Washington Metro area’s top remodelers and design-build firms received recognition and awards for creativity and craftsmanship. The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Metro DC Chapter awarded BURCH BUILDERS GROUP, three awards; 1) Merit Award, for the Capital Region Contractor of the Year, Whole House Under 1 Million, 2) Squires Award for dedication to the Metro DC Chapter, and 3) Community Service Award for their donation of Labor and Materials for their Extreme Makeover Home Edition Build, which involved building a 7,500 sq. ft. after school facility for at risk youth.
“The Capital COTY Awards are the highest honor in the remodeling industry,” said Tim Burch, Jr., CR, President of the BURCH BUILDERS GROUP of Warrenton, VA. “Our team is proud to be honored with three awards this year. During this tough economy it is important that you give back to the community so we are especially proud of our Community Service Award.”
The BURCH BUILDERS GROUP double build on ABC Television airs on February 14, 2010 from 9-11pm.

Good Morning Washington talks with us about Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Today, we joined Good Morning Washington to announce the exciting return of the Emmy award-winning Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to the Washington, DC area.
Kathy Park of ABC7 News interviewed Tim Burch of Burch Builders and Sean Murphy of G&M Contracting to learn more about the exciting news, and how the builders have partnered together to prepare for such a worthy and daunting project – building a home and a community center in just four and a half days!

Burch Builders Group will be featured on ABC’s popular Extreme Makeover Home Edition television show. Construction and filming for the show will begin on August 22 and the show will air in November.
